My digital sheet music didn't print

My printer had a paper jam

Please contact us on help@musicroom.com or call +44 (0)1284 725 725 (9am-5pm GMT Monday-Friday) and we will be happy to reset the system to allow you to print again without having to purchase a second time. If you have a problem outside of our office hours and you need your music urgently, please purchase again and send us an email to explain what happened and we will cancel the initial order, so you don't get charged twice, as soon as we get back into the office.  

My printer ran out of paper

With most printers, don't turn off the printer - just feed in some more paper and it should continue printing. Some printers may require you to press a 'paper feed' button on the printer. However, if it appears that you have lost your print, please contact us on help@musicroom.com or call +44 (0)1284 725 725 (9am-5pm GMT Monday-Friday) and we will be happy to reset the system to allow you to print again without having to purchase a second time.

I tried to 'print to file' rather than to paper

Unfortunately, in order to fight piracy, copyright law prohibits us from allowing customers to store image files of the scores on their computers. Therefore, when you buy from us, we only allow printing to paper. The webpage printed but the music was blank

Please check that you have clicked the correct print button. If you use CTRL+P, the regular browser print button or 'File'->'Print' you will just get the webpage but no music. To print the music, you need to click on the printer icon on the Scorch toolbar - that's the row of buttons directly above the music itself.

The printer icon is just to the left of the small 'flame' icon. 

The site crashed or froze when I clicked the printer icon

If you are using the BT Yahoo! browser, you will need to try using a different browser. The BT Yahoo! browser is incompatible with the Scorch software that we use. We recommend that you use the standard version of Internet Explorer. You may already have this on your system: it can usually be accessed by clicking the Windows Start menu in the bottom task bar, and navigating to: All Programs > Internet Explorer.

Alternatively, it can be freely downloaded from a number of sites on the net.

Nothing happened when I clicked the printer icon

If the printer dialogue window appears but your printer fails to react after you’ve clicked 'OK', please check that your printer is switched on, contains paper and is connected to your computer. If it is, please print any text document to check whether the printer is set up correctly. If the document doesn't print, you will need to consult your printer manual or the manufacturer's website to set up your printer correctly. 

If no printer dialogue window appears and the printer icon greys-out, you can re-enable the printer icon by clicking the 'Refresh' button in your browser toolbar. In most cases, if you then click the printer icon again, you should find that it will bring up the print dialogue window this time and the print will proceed correctly.
